Episode 2 of Start-Up was just released about a day ago and we can’t wait for the next episode!
Dal-mi has finally met Nam Do-san but at this point, she doesn’t know that he’s not the guy behind the letters.
Here’s a preview of episode 3 of Start-Up, a Korean Drama which is available on Netflix.
Episode 2 ending
Towards the end of episode 2, Dal-mi finally attended the networking event hosted by her sister In-jae. As she didn’t bring Do-san along, she felt embarrassed and Ji-pyeong noticed her. He then walked towards her.
However, Do-san suddenly appeared at the venue and walked towards Dal-mi, as he made a last minute choice to join the networking event. He pretended as though he is Do-san in the love letters 15 years ago.
The episode ended as Dal-mi and Do-san said hello to each other. In the epilogue, we see some staff at CODA discussing the results for the face recognition competition. They were impressed with Samsan Tech’s results and some Korean dude in the group seemed eager to meet Do-san. We can expect to see more of him in the future episodes.
Episode 3 preview
In the preview, we can see Do-san and Dal-mi meeting elsewhere as they get to know each other better.
Do-san also borrowed Ji-pyeong’s car as he continues to pretend to be successful (probably), but he doesn’t seem to know how to operate the sun-roof.
Ji-pyeong seem to be playing along and redecorated his house to look like Do-san’s office. Dal-mi tells Do-san that she’s following his footsteps and decided to quit her job.
Samsan Tech is then seen celebrating as a team as they probably got their result from the CODA competition. The team seems to be at the Sandbox venue as well, together with Dal-mi.
Towards the end of the preview, Do-san apologizes to Dal-mi for deceiving her but we don’t know the context yet.
